Rochester Rookies at Nationals

Corey, Luke, Scott and I would like to thank the Spina Bifida Association for donating your portion for the Spokes for Spina Bifida event back to the Rochester Rookies to help pay for the expenses at National competition.

The money was used towards our registration. hotel and transportation. Nationals this year was in Union County, New Jersey from July 19th – 24th. We all had a great time during the week, we all saw old friends and made many new ones.

Between the four of us we came home with 3 gold medals. 9 silver medals and 2 bronze medals. We also came home with 2 Nationals records for power lifting and one for shot put. Our last night in New Jersey was the banquet, the Rochester Rookies received first place for the small team category.
